Starting a new hobby and rediscovering my love for stationery
While journaling and keeping a diary isn't new to me; (I've been trying to keep one since before the whole world went crazy) I'm still pretty new to the magical world of Japanese journals. My first one, a Midori MD Diary I never got to finish because of my mental health struggles and getting hospitalized. Then during that same time managed to get my hands on a Hobonichi Cousin. Timing wasn't the best since I couldn't finish that one either. However, my love for them only grew after I discovered bullet journals. The one I had and still use was a Mus Creative one with a lot of pages. I didn't actually use it as a bullet journal but instead made a collection of all my favorite things;
lyrics mostly but also some random wishlists. Quickly I came to the conclusion that actual bullet journaling wasn't for me. So I without too much hesitation I gave Hobonichi another try even after failing to use it at first.
Flashfoward to a year and my journal is now a pretty decent size. Not as chunky as other people's Hobo's but since it's a Cousin I actually prefer it this way.
In another post I will introduce my lineup for next year. I'm really excited to use different systems and different ways of journaling.
See you guys in the next post. :)
